Minimum Storing Time  

Storing water in a copper vessel only for one to two hours will not give you benefits. It will not add any value to your water. You have to store water in a Copper utensil minimum for 9-12 hours or overnight before consuming it. 

Removal of Copper Oxide Layer 

When copper comes in contact with oxygen, then oxidation occurs. This oxidation forms a copper oxide layer. You must have seen the green layer of copper oxide in utensils. Citrus Cleaner
